Steven May, CFI, with over 25 years of experience in the retail industry is a seasoned veteran of retail loss prevention. Currently he is the CEO & President of LP Innovations, Inc, a nationwide provider of outsourced loss prevention services based in Milford, MA, a firm he founded 1998. Prior to founding LP Innovations, May was the First Senior Vice President, Director of Loss Prevention and Auditing with J. Baker Inc. (DBA CMRG Inc), a national retailer with over 1,300 stores and $600 million in annual sales. During his tenure, he oversaw all corporate facilities, distribution centers and retail stores.

May is a Certified Forensic Investigator in Advanced Interview and Interrogation Techniques from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates. May is an Advisory Board member for Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, as well as a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and is a Certified Paralegal in the State of Massachusetts.
